Devin {senior}

Imagine that... I found another fellow early riser!!
Devin is a senior at St Croix Falls High School
 and because she is a morning person as well we set out soon after daybreak here in Stillwater for some fun shots!!



















Then up to the park...  Devin loves to swing!



She brought along two of her friends...
Her cat Gertie and her doll Brittney.



And look... we even found some beautiful, early Fall color!

I have run across this saying a few times lately and think it is just wonderful Ü
Special needs children don't have an illness

there is no cure and it's not contagious.

They want what we all want... to be accepted.

Peyton {senior}

I had such a great time gallivanting all over Iowa Falls with Peyton and his Mom for this shoot!

Peyton is a senior at Iowa Falls High School and enjoys "cruising" so of course we had to include his car!

And his dog Libby :)

He also likes soccer and plays for the Iowa Falls Cadets!

Then some fun at the local rail yard.

















We arrived here at the dam here to get some pictures and "Bill" showed up to actually open the dam
and he invited us in for a tour and to get pictures which was awesome!!  Thanks Bill!!

Thanks Peyton and Deb for a great afternoon it was really nice to meet the both of you.

Landon {9 months}

I can hardly believe this little guy is 9 months!  He has grown quite a bit since his 6 month shoot!

We decided to do some summery beach shots and wouldn't you know

it turned out to be one of the "coolest" days of the summer!!

We got a few  shots  here on the beach just in time because in blew a fierce rain storm but,

then it blew out just as fast and left us with this gorgeous rainbow!!

Sam♥Maria part III {wedding}

And finally to the wedding... Ü

Maria came in via boat from across the lake which was so unique and fun! Such a beautiful picture watching her coming into the dock with her proud, smiling Father at her side, the sun beaming on her and the breeze blowing her veil.

Thier "sand keepsake" was a little different than I had seen before and it was sooo neat. The minister read off all the items that their Mothers had each added to their individual sand containers. Each were little tokens or momentos from their childhood that had meaning and I thought it was a really special idea.

Some brought tears...


And some laughter...



then they combined all those memories together...

The new Mr and Mrs dancing their way down the aisle to "let's get this party started" - how appropriate!!

And what a dinner and party it was... "Texas" beef brisket to die for!! 

LOL...the cake cutting started out so beautiful and then... Sam started it ;)

But oh no worries... Maria got him back Ü
